I did 'Rio' once northbound (via Stockport) and twice southbound (once via Stockport, once via Romiley). I wish I'd done it more often!

I've done the journey 5 times Northbound and 3 times Southbound from Luton to Manchester. It was a brilliant jounrey and I was very sad when the service stopped. Can't compete with Virgin............. even though it gave people in the midlands a direct link to the north west in a decent train.
