Quick question re. Cumbria

Next Sunday, en route to Scotland, I'll be overnighting in Carlisle. I was looking at doing the 15:35 Carlisle to Preston service. As far as I can see the only price available is a £60ish single fare.

Would a Cumbria Day Ranger @ £36.00 be valid on this service as it doesn't go any further East than the shown limit of Skipton?

That is absolutely fine; definitely within validity, and well spotted.

It's also valid all day according to NRE.

Tony_mac - there is no reason at all why the anytime return isn't suitable, it's simply a case of forgetting to check return fares!

However, given that the rover is only 70p more, I will probably get that and see if I can squeeze anything else in.
