Couldn't spot any - doesn't seem to be as many pics in the 'new look' Rail, although there is a full page devoted to a head and shoulders shot of Elaine Holt!

Used to buy Rail when it was good all the time but gave up since this 'Richard Clinnick' joined (Replacing Pip) Seems to know nothing and whatever about the current scene and what happened to all the news? Not worth £3 thats for sure....

Chris Gilson (who also did some of the traction/preservation stuff) has also left in the past few weeks. Browsing the latest issue in WHS the other day, I noticed they are advertising for a news & features writer - with part of the wording something like "you have to be more than just an enthusiast".

I don't waste my money on any magazines, much better and I'm £3.50 at the minimum a month better off for it. I spend shed loads of time on t'internet, notably rail forums, though.

Urrr, even when I was fully into rail stuff I avoided "rail" like the plauge, it was cack.

PD did my head in too, can't remember what it was but every time I read something by him it wound me up. I need to remember what it was that made me dislike him so much...
