Railcard Expiry

I've had a Family and Friends Railcard most years for the past 8 years or so now and before the expiry dates I've always had an e-mail from them reminding me about the benefits of renewing my railcard.

Well, Every year except this year!
By chance I checked my Family and Friends railcard as providing we are permitted to travel I'm meant to go to Great Yarmouth in August and the expiry date was yesterday.

Good job I didn't need to travel sooner really. But I can see how people can quite easily get caught out if they aren't sending out reminders any more!

Thanks for prompting me to realise that mine had expired! It's been a month and a half and it didn't occur to me once.
