This is the last week to take part in the survey commissioned by Network Rail in conjunction with Middlesex University on the subject of suicide prevention on the railways - and as it's such an important topic (and a very well constructed survey) we wanted to give this particular survey a bit more visibility.     Hi. Me and my friend have bought return tickets from Doncaster to Bournemouth with a 2 together railcard but he can no longer go. Would it be best for me to explain the situation with the inspector on the train as I have paid £70 for the ticket or travel with my 16-25 railcard and pay the excess fee?

    Go into the ticket office at Doncaster and they'll change it for you.
