As Ttitle suggests, are there rail tours planned for January by any chance? Rail advent doesn't show any, maybe it is too far in advance...

I’m sure there will be a handful, but based on last year I think any will be announced in the next 8 weeks or so. At this point operators are still focusing on this years tours. Perhaps look at the railway herald railtour section, which will show you any booked for this January but then also look at last January to give you an idea of what you can expect.

Three railtours are now shown on the Railway Herald website as running in January. No doubt more will be announced shortly - I believe LSL for example are due to reveal next year's tour programme at the beginning of November.
RTC have released pretty much their entire programme for 2023.

LSL have now advertised next years' tours running under the Statesman, Saphos and Midland Pullman brands. Nothing shown on the IC or Steam Dreams websites for 2023 as yet.
