The Great Central Railway is pulling out all the stops this year for the Autumn Gala during October 8th and 9th, with no less than 9 Locomotives expected to make an appearence, with the Caprotti 5 (73129) and a 9F (92212) both expected to make guest appearences.,
An intensive timetable is expected, with possible Locomotive Changes taking place at Leicester North, local trains between Loughborough and Rothley, demonstration Freight, Goods and Parcels trains, express trains, double heading, and much more.
Fares are expected to be the normal Gala fares of
On the Double Track you wont go long before you see a cloud of smoke in the distance, and maybe even two trains passing at once.
