Just started putting together a site for photo's I have taken since I've worked on the railway.
I started in 1990 at Wolverhampton as a Box lad & since then:
-Wolverhampton Relief Shunter(covered Oxley as well).
-Signalman at Madley Jcn.
-Signalman at Hartlebury.
-Signalman briefly at Birmingham New street (too far to travel in the end).
-Signalman at Stourbridge Jcn.
-Mobile Operations Manager at Walsall but covering Stafford to Coventry/Salop to Nuneaton.
& now a Driver with Arriva Trains Wales at Shrewsbury.

These are not great quality shots, just pictures I have taken with a bog standard 35mm/average digital/Mobile phone.Hopefully the content of some of them will make up for quality.:happy3:
Any comments welcome.

Yeah Liam thats one 143 down, only loads left now to get rid of! :angry1:

Thanks for the comments so far, always out there with the camera phone looking for photo ops.Trouble is interesting stuff is normally around whilst I'm actually driving.BTW all cab shots are taken with the train at a stand,DRA set & controls secured & the phone is switched to camera only mode to adhere to the no phones allowed "On" in the cab rule.

Coxster, great sig video. Thats one of ours on the Heart of Wales line, which actually I am on tomorrow..........hopefully the cars can keep off the crossings then.8)
Featured in this news report from the BBC,Infact I think the first one is the Heart of Wales line as well. They are all crazy down there.

Most of the in cab pictures are taken to remind me of various signals/speeds & moves that I can then use to route refresh if I havent done the move or been to the area in a while. Then of course the others are taken on PNB's because I like to record the day to day railway.

Just looking through the pics & I've broken my own golden rule ,I've actually got a photo with a bloomin shed in it!!:tongue2:

I can't quite agree with you here: http://brremains.fpic.co.uk/p35935281.html

Most of out trains coming from canton are in terrible state. Was there much yellow tape at Canton

{I'm sure they do a great job and it's sad for them to loose their jobs but i have never had a good Canton unit}

I know what You mean Liam but regardless of how tatty or tired the units coming out maybe I do know that these guys really do some good work when they can.

Cant really say more than that

A few more photo's uploaded from today's trip over the Heart of wales line in a Skate (my new nickname for 153's after how much slipping & sliding we did today). Had another driver with me today so gave him the camera to get various views for route knowledge retention, hence why most pics are from secondmans side. Also due to the way My fotopic site is laid out the route is reversed, although the pics are numbered in the right order.Havent had time to add descriptions to them all yet. Also a few pics from manchester as thats where I drove to after the heart of wales line, was glad to get back into a 158,nice to have sanders again!
Pictures start here:-

BTW here's a pic of Bucknell crossing, scene of the video of the plastic pig versus 150 that people may have seen.No 3 wheeled vehicles attacked my unit today thankfully.

All of them mate, only chance I get these days to drive an almost real sized train.
Think it was a 153+158+153+150+158.
Changing ends was a pain.
