    Not Meld or 55008 (it’s a racehorse)

I'll try Ballymoss? (No idea if it were a racehorse, but it doesn't sound like a regiment)

Is the correct answer! they had to remove it for a month in 1980 as the would-be thieves actually bent the nameplate when trying to remove it.

    Cool, thanks :D

Sorry, we're staying with diesels but going West for this one...

Three class 47 locomotives became celebrities when they were repainted for the GWR 150 celebrations in 1985. What were their names and numbers?

Firstly, an apology! It appears that there may actually have been 4 class 47s that received GWR 150 livery, but I only found 3 of them in my research, hence my question

@Ashley Hill, you have 3 of the correct ones and so have fulfilled the question (The other which I found was 47628 Sir Daniel Gooch), so please, the paint shop is yours :D

Only four stations in Cornwall carried green BR(S) totems. Which four were they?

Launceston is just in Cornwall however neither station is known to have carried totems. However two of your choices are correct!

    Camelford for no 3
Stumped for the last one, assuming both Wadebridge and Padstow had GWR nameboards as it got there first

    No not Camelford either.
Neither Wadebridge or Padstow were GWR. Are you guessing either?
