Eastenders tonight, Bobby was on a main line station with a motorway bridge over it, just wondering where it was because all the main lines in East London are electrified and this one wasn't.

It was filmed at Orton Mere station on the Nene Valley Railway.

The Nene Valley Railway in Peterborough is hardly the first place that springs to mind when you think of the BBC One soap Eastenders, but producers have picked one of its quaint stations as the location for Walford Common in an upcoming episode of the show.

Ah yes, saw the crew putting fake posters etc out there when I visited in July. The station name was covered up...
