Does anyone know of any useful freeware for converting RAW files to JPEG ?

It did, but the software seems to screw up my computer making it slow down. Although it does work fine, its just 57.6mb per file :shock:.

I've been using it, but the download is a 30 day trial though. Also don't forget that different cameras use different types of RAW images. For example, my Canon uses a CR2 format rather than .raw. If you just do a google with the title freeware raw converting software, then this link would pop up http://www.photo-freeware.net/raw-shooter-essentials.php

IrfanView is also a good one. It's free, and it's also 'portable', meaning you can run it from a memory stick, portable harddrive, etc.

I did need to install the Canon DLL's to open CR2 files (the IrfanView website also explained how to do that).
