Indeed. And it would probably be valid at anytime except on peak/off peak/weekends/any day with a 'y' in it.

Can anyone confirm for me when the last date someone could buy a 26-30 railcard - is it when they are 29 years and 364 days or 30 years and 364 days old?

30 years and 364 days. So potentially valid until you're almost 32!

We were developing quite an extensive chat around the 26-30 Railcard and the Caledonian Sleeper so I've moved those posts into a new thread to leave this one free for more general issues relating to the new Railcard.

What's the betting that some people might have tried to buy one at or shortly after 12.00 when they were on their lunch break, and not reached the front of the queue until they were back at work (and then missed their chance because they weren't allowed to use the internet for non-work purposes during office hours except when on lunch, so they had to return to the back of the queue and only got it that evening)?

Or they might have logged onto the site as soon as they got home that evening but not reached the front of the queue until some unearthly hour of the night (so they would either have to sit up waiting for it, set their phone or computer to wake them up when their turn came, or miss their place and not get it until the next day). I suppose you could potentially miss your place several times if you were always at work or asleep when the time came!

The 26-30 website says that it is valid for "Most Rail Rovers fares". https://www.26-30railcard.co.uk/using-your-railcard/travel-times-tickets/

What does that mean exactly? Is there a list of which rovers or rangers are not valid, or would the rovers and rangers which are valid with the 16-25 railcard also be valid with the 26-30?

The GB RAIL ROVER GUIDE and TOC websites have not been updated.
