Im a trainee driver looking to buy a camera to record my routes for learning purposes. (I'm aware of the rules around devices etc.) Would like to not spend too much i.e. Go Pro. Has anyone used one for this purpose & could you recommend it? Thanks.

Some TOCs will have routes already recorded. Its worth checking with your your Mentor/Instructor/Manager how to access those if already available. Its good to see that your TOC has allowed recording of the routes and use of a camera. Is this normal for your TOC or recently introduced ?

There are also some Drivers eye views that are readily available so you may wish to check through those.
