Only one HST out. Returning off the rail tour and looking like it will form 14.34 to Nottingham.I don't know about 13.34 departure from St P, but I would say the 14.34 is an HST (made up from the HST currently running the Branch Line Society EMR HST farewell train)

I guess it would be helpful to know where things are today thurs from anyone who knows with any certainty
ei
a) one HST out or two?
b) what services being run with HST today (thurs 13th) with whatever is out
Wrong thread but yes HST vice Voyager on 1S37, 1V62, 1V61 from BRI.1334 is a voyager 222012
I think I passed one on the 1234 St Pancras
Thanks, the 1434 will be wedged with returnees from the tour. I went to King's Cross for the 1330.
Overnight in Edinburgh tonight and the 1434 is a difficult manoeuvre to Edinburgh and collect the keys etc.
I had one unexpected Hst on the 0525 Plymouth Newcastle this morning.
No. Only the 14.34.Are there two diagrams running with Hst today to Nottingham at 1334,1434?
This diagram only today:Only one HST out. Returning off the rail tour and looking like it will form 14.34 to Nottingham.

Subject to any operational issues of course. Yesterday's evening diagrams were cancelled due to a fatality. Thanks - v helpful and clear post!
No. Several possibilities with heritage rail tours and maybe a reprieve to cover for absent 800 series units. Is today's farewell the last ever run of HST slam door stock now?
There’s still two more days possible with EMR, as recent posts in this thread would explain…Is today's farewell the last ever run of HST slam door stock now?
No, given they're expected to be in service for the next two days. Plus the various rail tour sets...Is today's farewell the last ever run of HST slam door stock now?
No - should be HSTs in EMR public service runs on friday and saturday (should be weekday times on Friday as posted up thread fingers crossed). Hopefully 2 HST sets all being well.Is today's farewell the last ever run of HST slam door stock now?
Yes that diagram was switched to a Class 222 Meridian train for the day and started/terminated at Derby. On another matter....
So 1F70, 20.01 from St P only ran to Derby, not Leeds this eve. Any particular reason known for that? I'm assuming because it wasn't an HST - with only one set out on Thurs 13th may.
So does anyone know the very last EMR HST From Sheffield to Leeds either tomorrow Friday the 14 or Saturday 15 ?? Desperately trying to find out as I need to know which day to go out for them! Can anyone tell me ASAP!?
Saturday. As already stated. So does anyone know the very last EMR HST From Sheffield to Leeds either tomorrow Friday the 14 or Saturday 15 ?? Desperately trying to find out as I need to know which day to go out for them! Can anyone tell me ASAP!?
and on Saturday hopefully departures from Sheffield northbound at 21.26 and 22.21 by my reckoning. So does anyone know the very last EMR HST From Sheffield to Leeds either tomorrow Friday the 14 or Saturday 15 ?? Desperately trying to find out as I need to know which day to go out for them! Can anyone tell me ASAP!?
Looks to me (from RTT, so unable to confirm with personal observation) 2 sets out working to normal weekday diagrams (see post #190 up thread)Is anyone able to confirm todays diagrams and allocations please?
The 43274+43102 was on 1B23 earlier so should be working the 'set 1' schedule. Is anyone able to confirm todays diagrams and allocations please?
I'd be tempted to aim for the 14.34 from St P (if starting from the southern end of the line) on the basis that services will get busier in general later in the day, which from what Optima says it will be on - as you can see it's non stop to Mkt Harboro. I'm not sure if it runs through any stations on the route esp slowly. St P is not really a great place to see them as access to platforms is restricted and the view from the other side of the barrier line is not very good (even if 43102 was at the buffer stop end that is)According to my notes, I've never seen 43102 and would like to before it retires. Any idea on passenger loadings today, could do a cheeky run to Nottingham in FC. Alternatively, where would be a good station north of STP to see them travelling through. Many thanks.
from EMR twitter...On the last day of operation, a separate queuing system will be in place for HST departures from STP. Boarding will be limited If you are unable to board you will be permitted to travel on the next available departure to your destinationI'd be tempted to aim for the 14.34 from St P But if it might be crowded (no idea on that)
Yes, I has assumed this related to Saturday (also busy due to sport as mentioned up thread), tho I guess could be implemented today if circs dictate.from EMR twitter...On the last day of operation, a separate queuing system will be in place for HST departures from STP. Boarding will be limited If you are unable to board you will be permitted to travel on the next available departure to your destination
Retirement of our HST's | EMR
We understand the retirement of our remaining High Speed Trains from passenger service in May is an important milestone and one which everyone at EMR is determined to recognise. However, we are also living in unprecedented times and our absolute priority must always be to protect the safety of...www.eastmidlandsrailway.co.uk
43102 is just outside Wellingborough heading south on ecs to form the 1434 to Nottingham. It will be on the blocks at St Pancras when it gets there.According to my notes, I've never seen 43102 and would like to before it retires. Any idea on passenger loadings today, could do a cheeky run to Nottingham in FC. Alternatively, where would be a good station north of STP to see them travelling through. Many thanks.
I am going to try joining it at Market Harborough at 15:29. Safe to say iam very looking forward to seeing 102 and 274But if it might be crowded (no idea on that) I suppose the option is to go earlier to Mkt Harboro or Leicester and join the train there.
