RealTime trains says although this is not confirmed, 1A87 starts at North Pole then works to Plymouth and back so likely to be IEP, 1A81 starts at Penzance, works to Paddington then to Cheltenham and back before going to Old Oak, so would likely be HST.

Ok, thought it was still a HST.
Curiously RTT still shows it as starting from OOC still

Comes off NP as part of an 8 car (5W12)

Proof that it’s not all that easy to trace diagrams through on RTT.

Some changes this week and it looks like the following off of this list are IET

Down Trains (Destination)
1W01 1022 Hereford
1W25 1221 Worcester SH
1W36 1752 Worcester SH

Up Trains (Originating Station):
1P12 0528 Hereford
1P18 0642 Hereford
1P36 1522 Worcester SH
1P39 1514 Hereford
1P49 2059 Worcester SH

flipping back in the opposite direction which are HST are;

Down Trains (Destination)
1W32 1550 Moreton in Marsh *
1W02 1722 Hereford

Up Trains (Originating Station):
1P40 1738 Moreton in Marsh *
1P51 2151 Hereford

* I think 1W32/1P40 were HST last week also

Used the 06.42 from Hereford to get to Reading today, was worked by 800309.

Coming back was on the 15.50 off Paddington, a scratch HST rake, with a composite coach in the formation as coach F, followed by a buffet-first and trailer first.

1A83 is part of an HST Diagram
1A87 is part of an 800/3 (9 car) diagram.

43098 and 43185 did the honours today for which many thanks. 43185 in Intercity Swallow livery brought back memories of Bristol to Bath commuting to school in the mid 1980s...

On Friday, I went down to Westbury on 1C86 1503 Paddington to Penzance with 43030 leading. Can anyone tell me what the rear power car was, as I forgot to look while taking a photo?

Final details being worked out now but roughly speaking, nothing on North or South Cots, very few workings to and from Bristol and South Wales (roughly 2 full diagrams worth) and much the same to/from West of England as now, only a slight reduction to/from Penzance. Total of 13 diagrams only.

Ok thanks!
Was thinking of booking some tickets to either Plymouth or Penzance for one last HST journey

Can u put the headcodes If u have time?

As it’s a Saturday it’s hard to find out. If you want to ride a HST that day then tweet GWR at around 7 in the morning and they can give you the allocations. Otherwise, go onto the TOPS thread as some people there might know.

Cotswolds services on HST diagrams:

Down Trains (Destination)

1W00 0821 Hereford
1W01 1022 Hereford
1W25 1221 Worcester SH
1W27 1322 Worcester FS
1W36 1752 Worcester SH
1W03 1822 Hereford
1W04 1922 Hereford
1G88 1948 Worcester SH (via Swindon)
1W42 2148 Worcester SH

Up Trains (Originating Station):

1P07 0447 Hereford
1P04 0511 Worcester SH
1P12 0528 Hereford
1P18 0642 Hereford
1L28 0708 Worcester SH (via Swindon)
1P31 1201 Hereford
1P39 1514 Hereford
1P36 1522 Worcester SH
1P37 1551 Worcester FS
1P49 2059 Worcester FS

I think I have captured them all but can’t promise there’s not one or two missing (especially via Gloucester as I only based the search on Worcester)
Usual disclaimer: Booked Traction may differ due to fleet availability & service requirements on the day.
Sorry to ask again, but could you confirm the HST diagrams on the Cotswolds for this upcoming Saturday as well please? Many thanks for the help. (Also I am aware this could change last minute on the day).

I'll try and have a look over the next day or so.
