Remaining LNER Class 91 services

0706 King’s Cross to York is unexpectedly 91116 and a short formed Mk4 set this morning (coach M missing).

A pleasant surprise, I’m sure it was an Azuma when I booked last week. Fingers crossed the 1603 return is still an HST today.

Quite a few Azuma services are being covered by 91s this week, including the 07:06 to York and the 15:00 to Stirling.

The 16:03 is a 91 today as the HST has covered an Azuma working to Leeds instead.

I have an option of a 91 plus Mk4s or an Azuma next week, just a few mins apart. Return trip is a 91, so thinking it’s time I tried an Azuma.... got to be done at some point I guess!

Agreed with @DarloRich, go for the 91.

It’s actually an Azuma. Cue chaos as the seat reservations don’t match the HST it was supposed to be. It‘s also rather cosy as overhead wire problems further north are reducing the service to London somewhat.

Thanks for that, had traced the diagram back on real time trains and found that the set had worked off a booked 91 working earlier so assumed it'd be a 91.

Was a nice surprise from Edinburgh to Glasgow. I wonder if it wont be the last 91 at Glasgow. Nothing wrong with MK4s

Post #48 holds majority of them, only a few on that list would've gone over to Azuma by now. I will see if I can do an list of these very soon.
