Don't forget! BST will be in force

Sunday 26th March 2006 1am GMT
until
Sunday 29th October 2006 1am GMT

Don't forget to adjust your watches or other timepieces (unless they're auto-calibrating to MSF).

Would anyone on this forum NOT rather just keep GMT all year round?

Quite the opposite. Some years ago they stayed on BST throughout the winter. IMHO it was far better.

When did they do that? Was it just a trial, or did they do that for some years before reverting to changing clocks?

However, if you keep BST in the winter, the sun would rise awfully late!

Still Winter timezone here, not changing till next weekend. The sun would be good to rise late mind, more sleep in bed without thinking its late.
