Chris Kempster Photography - Rescued by Diesels
Its a well known fact now that while Steam is heavily promoted on preserved railways, Diesel power provides a solid back bone for both service trains and shunting. My experience at the Yorkshire Moors recently proved this after 'Sir Nigel Gresley' failed a Class 37 was readied at a moments notice to fill the void.
This collection represents some of the shots I have taken over the years of similar instances, as well as scheduled running.
