Routing via Dalmuir

Trying to get a Liverpool to Edinburgh ticket to allow me to travel via Dalmuir (to take the Fort william sleeper from there to Edinburgh) on Sunday 10th July, it will allow me to go via Partick, is there anyway of tweaking it, or indeed a better site that I could use to enable this, I have tried Scotrail and FGW, its only to save a tenner but I would prefer having that in my pocket if possible.

Unless there's a dubious routeing anomaly in the Routeing Guide , you'd need an additional ticket if you want to do that.
