UK Fencer fleet (updated 21.09.21): 1

PC Coaches (Lincoln): 1

On order: (updated 02.11.2021): 4

Q-Park (Heathrow): 4

The single-deck Scania/Higer Fencer f1 has found its first customer.
The first unit was delivered today to Lincoln operator PC Coaches.

Pictures from Scania UK and PC Coaches.

Seeing the cyan colour trim on the outside of the bus, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is an ex-demo vehicle, as the Fencer f1 was presented with this cyan colour trim.

I’ll try and keep track of the Fencer deliveries in the UK (see top of this post).

Not sure how any "proper" livery would fit this model. There's an awful lot of black panels.

I don't think it's any worse than any of the other buses on the market. Much of the black in the livery shown above seems to be paint.

Nothing stops you from applying vinyls on the black panels. It’s something that’s done all the time.

It's a 71 plate so I doubt it.

The demo plate was SF21 BUS, so Scania Fencer 2021 Bus, so really a vanity plate just for the purpose of the presentation.
Plus if something was changed in the bus to meet PC Coaches’ spec, they would’ve had to re-register the bus.

it’s all speculation on my part, though.

I think you might be correct. A DVLA search brings up nothing for SF21BUS - although I'm not sure if it was even registered in the first place!

The first factory order (confirming that the PC Fencer is the ex-demo unit) for Scania Fencers has been placed.
Q-Park has signed for 4 Fencer f1 buses, scheduled for delivery in May 2022.
The buses will be used for their Heathrow operations.

The buses will be of the 10.9 m variant, equipped with the 280 hp Cummins/Scania DC07 engine and sitting on a K-series chassis.

The fleet table in post #1 has been edited accordingly.

It seems to have very limited destination display space.
