Scarborough Spa Express last night (27/7/11)

I did it last night for the 1st time this year York-York.

45407 performed well and it was a good trip.

My only grumble. Nothing to do with the train.

Photographers at stations going beyond the 'Do Not Pass this point' sign.

Normanton, Castleford & Wakefield Kirkgate it happened.

The sign is there for a reason. When is too far past the sign? An inch? A foot? on the platfrom ramp? in the cess? in the four foot? scraped of the front of the train?

tbh if they were just past the sign i would have a queit word. Any further and i would call the BTP.

I did the Scarboorugh Spa Express behind Flying Scotsman and had a great day out. It was just Scarborough and back then though.

I also did the Waverley last Sunday and had a great day out 45407 did great work. A credit to the owners and the teams running the trip
