My votes for the June entries:

superalbs - 2 points
A very enjoyable drive along the English Riviera. The AI was well-placed, but it was very, very easy to run ahead of timetable. Tighten it up for your next scenario.
cactustwirly - 0 points
Although it looked good upon loading at Norwich, a late-running service blocking the station throat prevented me from completing the scenario because I was late into Brundall. Therefore, I cannot award any points.

Cactustwirly and I both sit at three points by my count. Looks like we need someone else to come along and break the tie!

Final scores:
1st Place: superalbs and cactustwirly (3 points)
3rd Place: Me (1 point)
4th Place: unclefreddy, Iskra, heart-of-wessex and Trainfan344 (Failed to upload)

In the event of a tie, such as here, my vote is the tiebreaker. Therefore, superalbs wins the June 2016 competition, and a lifetime supply of dihydrogen monoxide.

The next competition starts within the next two days. See you then!

My scenario was working so well and was already for upload when I got to one point and found the run round loop was too short!

July 2016's competition has now started.
This month's themes are either:
Commuter Journeys - stopping services to/from London, Glasgow, Edinburgh etc
The Olden Days - create a scenario set before 1970

Entries must be received by 23:00 on Saturday, 23rd July 2016.
Good luck to all entrants!

I expect to do a scenario featuring this unit. :)

Here's my scenario this month.

(RUKCS4) 2B85 Lanark - Glasgow Central
Route: WCML with NCL - available here
Route prerequistes:
- WCML North
- WCML over Shap
- Edinburgh to Glasgow
- London to Faversham High Speed
ALL UKTS scenery packs - available here

Other payware:
AP Class 320/1/2 pack
Class 156
Class 390 'Pendolino'
Class 380 'Desiro'

Reskins (all from DP Simulation):
-Class 156 Saltire
-Class 390 Virgin

Editor's note: The timetable is tight, especially between Motherwell and Cambuslang, but it is perfectly achievable. However, if it is not, ScotRail have given you two minutes leeway at stations. Enjoy the drive!

@albs: Whilst I'm here, can you skin the AP 321 into TfL Rail colours? I may need it for a future project of mine, and since there won't be a 315 for a while, I need a subsititute. Thanks!

48 hours to submit your entries!

Last call: 12 hours before I win by default!

Since I was the only person to upload before the deadline, I unfortunately win by default.

This month's (and next month's) competitions will run concurrently - that is to say, they will be one block with one voting period.

For this block, you are to produce two scenarios using any of the five themes listed:

- Foreigner
Create a scenario not set in the UK.

- Railtours
Create a scenario where the player train is a railtour service. This can either be real or fictional.

- Slamdoors
Create a scenario where the player train is a slamdoor service. Locomotive-hauled services do not count.

- Great Eastern
Create a scenario on the GEML (either version) or the AP Wherry Lines.

- High-speed
Create a scenario where the player train reaches a speed above 120mph.

You can not create two scenarios under the same theme.

Alternatively, you can create a route. This can be set in any time period, but must be at least five miles in length, feature scenery and fully-working signalling. The route can be either realistic or fictional.

You have until 23:00 on September 23rd to submit. Entries must be sent to [email protected] in a .zip or .rar. Inside must be a .txt or .rtf with your forum username and any prerequisites for your scenarios. Please upload both scenarios at the same time - this will make uploading the final scenario package easier.

Good luck!
