Scotrail 156502 in Wales

Hi,
Sorry to start a new thread, couldn't find an appropriate one for class 156 or scotrail general.
Feel free to move to an appropriate thread if there is one applicable.

Saw Scotrail 156502 in Wales yesterday heading on its own power from Landore to Bristol on 528J. https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/O49740/2019-10-18/detailed.
Can't find a relevant onwards diagram from Bristol, but it was VSTP.

What was it doing in Wales? Long way from home. Looked like it had ironing board seats. Has it had a refurb at Landore?

The ScotRail 156s that didn’t get the ironing board seat downgrade/interior work completed are having this done at Landore by Chrysalis Rail.
