Scotrail 6 month rule?

Hey folks,

I have contacted Scotrail recruitment for some clarity but I thought in the meantime I'd ask here incase anyone can give me an answer.

With my Abellio Scotrail unsuccessful email it states "We would be happy to receive an application from you in the future, however please allow a minimum of 6 months from the interview date before reapplying"

Is this a blanket do not apply for any newly advertised roles at the station for the 6 month period following the my previous interview?

Nope, it is just for the same job that you cannot apply for, you can apply for any other job for the station that comes up. Same thing happened to me after a thanks but no thanks interview and I contacted them re the 6 month thing and that's what they replied with.
