385116 has been running around the Cathcart Circle today.
Nice. Although after years, if not decades, of 314s, the stockholm syndrome in me means that it is going to feel weird having such quick, capable units used on suburban commuter routes. I'm still amazed by having Passenger Info systems in a 318/320, never mind when a 380 shows up these days!

The 314s were so basic , 380s are a big change for Neilston

What routes do Corkerhill drivers sign then? Is it just the Glasgow South Western Railway services?

Corkerhill sign Barrhead/Kilmarnock/East Kilbride, Paisley Canal, Gourock, Wemyss Bay.
Their traction is 156, 158, 314, 380. As mentioned, they were trained on 318 and 320 some time ago but most cannot drive these because it has been over six months since they last drove one. Further training is required. As for the 385, Corkerhill have not been trained on them, not yet anyway.

With half of the 385's now in service does anyone know when deliveries from the factory will recommence? Nothing delivered this month so far. Or are Scotrail focusing their efforts on training staff on the HST's meaning insufficient time/resource available to train staff on further 385 deliveries? Or are HST and 385 roll out completely independent of each other?

Corkerhill sign 158s ? Don't they sign Ayr and Carlisle (via G & SW) or not ?

Shotts services i take it .They are Haymarket units perhaps.

318 was on Gourock diagram recently .

Find Corkerhill depot location strange , on a branch line (was not originally ) . Could merge with shields perhaps.

Not for a minute saying Scotrails Twitter team are 100% accurate but they did just post this on Twitter https://twitter.com/scotrail/status/1085208026078986240?s=21
They are wrong as usual. Static training on the 385 is taking place AT Corkerhill Depot but NOT the training of Corkerhill drivers. The 385 will not operate in any routes that Corkerhill drive, apart from possibly ECS. Motherwell drivers are currently being trained at Corkerhill.

Again Corkerhill only drive 158s as empty coaching stock since Whifflet went electric.

Looks as if deliveries restart tomorrow. A light engine movement from Tyne has been loaded, to match the delivery path which has existed Tues to Friday for several weeks.

385019 was sat outside today with the yellow delivery panel fitted, so that looks like the candidate for tomorrow.
