Hi does anybody know how much contributions you pay to the union and your pension when doing your first year training with scotrail as a driver?..as you would be on the training rates until you qualify after the two years. Are you at a reduced rate (pension) and does anybody know exactly what you pay each month.I guess the union fee would be the same regardless if you were in training or not,any information would be very greatful.

ASLEF subscription depends on pay so you will be paying considerably less on training salary compared to full one.

Thanks for the info bud

Is that the same for the company pension I know it's roughly £240 per month but are you required to pay the £240 per month on the training wage or are you required to pay a percentage of your wage and if so does anyone know what percentage it is,thanks in advance.
