When are the Barbie 158s and 156s going to get repainted into the new Scotrail saltire livery?

Not sure they are concentrating on the 170s and 334s/320s/314s at the moment but those 8 ex Alphaline units need to be smartened internally despite being repainted

all Scotrails 158s other than the 25 INV based sets are in need of a good refurb, followed by the first batch of 170s and as said many times before some high back seats on 156s would be rather nice.

Part of me wonders if the 158s are being held back as reguards repaint because a refit is planned?

Was on a 158 for the first time in ages to Larbert and must say they need a refurb . Theres a few 158s in the new c/s.

See many 156's and 158's here in Saltire from my office window and have to say they look good , especially when in 4 car formation. Makes you proud to have tartan blood

The 158s in saltire livery do look good shame they are not on the Shotts line too often and on the Whifflets . The 170s are pretty comfortable and im sure i was on a refurbd one not too long ago . The older ones have plastic yellowing which is a signof age.
