Yes I know you was-just stating you're lucky as our ones don't have the power sockets and USB ports at all.I was only speaking to ScotRail's units.

Not sure about here but head over to the UK HST Enthusiast group on Facebook, diagrams are posted daily. Is there a thread related to the actual diagrams of these please?
I had wondered if it was a re-run of the one that had the mishap at Dalwhinnie.
I noticed that RTT showed it as stopping for 5 minutes or more at all stations in one or both directions.
I’m going to make a wild guess and say that the 14:39 Glasgow - Inverness via Aberdeen and 20:15 Inverness - Glasgow may be HSTs now? The pathing has changed to VAR on those services and 1a69 is no longer showing as gaining extra coaches at AberdeenHad it confirmed it was a 5 car on test

I would keep an eye out on the 14:39 Glasgow - Inverness via Aberdeen and 20:15 Inverness - Glasgow on Saturdays now, looking like these are booked HST diagrams until the Sunday strikes finish..
Nope, turns out its a unit today! Oh wellIn tomorrow so will see first hand haha
Won't be a hst but isn't a 5 car now on a Saturday just a 3 car thats why no extra coaches addedNope, turns out its a unit today! Oh well
The sets have all been delivered, but aren't all in use daily. IIRC, there are still some fifth carriages to be delivered though.Sorry but I've lost track here.
Are all the sliding door and refubished HSTs now in use. Was it 26 4/5 car
Thanks
K
Minus the set written off, yes.Was it 26 4/5 car
off peak they're pretty empty, easily able to get a table to yourself, especially north of Stirling. Don't know about peak times though. How busy are central belt <> inverness trains at the moment? I'm travelling next week, would quite like to get the 1508 ex GLQ which I believe ought to be an HST. Would quite like to avoid any services that are overly busy though.

As of when? I didn't notice it last week.I’ve heard that departure boards are now advertising HST services as Inter7City instead of ScotRail? Has anyone seen this to confirm? Great to see if true!

Be interesting to see if this only displays if an HST set operates the service and not if a 170 subsThere was an image posted on Twitter today showing Inter7City on the departure boards at Inverness underneath services to Aberdeen and Glasgow - have posted it below alongside a link to the original tweet:
Are sure you’re not confusing the “this is an Inter7City service” scrolling message with Inter7City appearing where the operator does (in this case replacing ScotRail)? The boards at Queen St have been showing this for well over a year, as have Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth. The boards scroll this instead of "this train is formed of xx carriages." So if its a 170 it just says 3 carriages, no Inter7city.
Hi that's my image genuinely where it would normally say scotrail it now says Inter7city caught it while at work the other dayThere was an image posted on Twitter today showing Inter7City on the departure boards at Inverness underneath services to Aberdeen and Glasgow - have posted it below alongside a link to the original tweet:
No, there’s only 5 trailers still to come.Aren't there still 9 to come north?
Correct. And isn't there a complete set with power cars which went south for warranty work
