Are these the ones which were "temporarily" withdrawn because they included ferry journey inter-availability?The Spirit of Scotland Travelpass, Scottish Grand Tour Travelpass and Highland Rover are all available for sale from 16/08/21

Yes.Are these the ones which were "temporarily" withdrawn because they included ferry journey inter-availability?
Have had to do that in the past when using a 'Lakes Day Ranger' ticket when boarding a Stagecoach bus in downtown Workington.Back in the old days, I would have found a leaflet for the product and have used this as a source of info to wave in front of a resistant bus driver/ferry worker.
I could swear at one stage it even included the Edinburgh Trams in the "City Zone" (so excluding the last stop into the airport)I see that you get a hefty amount included with the Spirit of Scotland Travelpass:

I've highlighted the main included elements. In particular, has anyone faced any resistance in the past when trying to use the pass on buses or on CalMac ferries? Back in the old days, I would have found a leaflet for the product and have used this as a source of info to wave in front of a resistant bus driver/ferry worker.
Portree is the main town on Skye, of course, but potentially misleading if you can't get there using a particular rover type ticket without paying extra, and/or with no discount available for such a ticket holder.I found a reference to portree not being included, if that's the case why even bother putting it on the map.
The conditions say nothing about restrictions on railcards. If Spirit of Scotland ticket is bought with a railcard does that mean I cannot take advantage of the easements that allow any trains on certain routes to be used such as Fort William before 0915?
In late september I travelled on the 08:22 from GLQ (Glasgow Queen Street) to MLG (Mallaig), which connects with the ferry to Armadale and arrives at 14:55. However the taxi to Kyle was quoted at £45.Does anybody know if I can use buses to get between Kyle and Armadale on a highland rover? Its shown on the map as valid but theres nothing written about the validity anywhere.

So I waited just over two hours for the 17:05 number 52 Bus from Armadale Pier to Broadford (this only runs twice daily). I was staying in Broadford, but there are connections to both Kyle or Portree at Broadford Post Office.
It's a pleasant bike ride if the weather's OK.I'm thinking about taking my bike this time and just cycling between them.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Travel is valid Monday to Friday on trains departing after 09:15 and on any service at the weekend
The restriction does not apply to customers travelling on the following routes:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Glasgow Queen Street - Oban/Fort William/Mallaig.
- Inverness - Kyle /Wick/Thurso.
- Glasgow Central - Stranraer.
- Direct services from Lockerbie to Carlisle, Carstairs, Motherwell or Glasgow Central. "
One snag seems to be that, if you do not live in, say, Glasgow, and want to go to Fort William, then you need the pay to use connecting services into Glasgow that start before 09:15
They will love me when I roll up with a list of cycle reservations I need. Apparently you need them on the Far north but I can't see it being busy in Jan/FebIt's a pleasant bike ride if the weather's OK.
