Apparently queuing has been enforced at Glasgow Central, or maybe that’s a ploy to make people use another method of travel
I find it bizarre that it’s deemed safe enough to have 2 pilots in a cockpit but not 2 people in a train cab!A number of drivers have retired or left and training has stopped because it always requires two in the cab.
1/2 pilots and/or 1 first officer needed to fly a plane, one driver needed to drive a train. not 100% necessary to have two people in a train cab.I find it bizarre that it’s deemed safe enough to have 2 pilots in a cockpit but not 2 people in a train cab!
How busy are services travelling between Glasgow queen Street and Edinburgh Waverley between 8-9am and 6-7pm please?
noticed tonight a few 4 carriage trains (rather than 8) on the Edinburgh-Glasgow route via Falkirk High after 7pm. Will this be a regular occurrence or were these just short formed today?
They are still quiet compared to normal. Passenger levels have increased but are fairly consistent over the day. With almost all City Centre offices still closed there's no real "rush hour". The huge wave of office workers that normally occurs just after 5pm isn't happening. How busy are services travelling between Glasgow queen Street and Edinburgh Waverley between 8-9am and 6-7pm please?

Yes , you will get shoppers to Town but after they have closed its quiet. Still think they could ditch the evening 430 to 630 peak time ticket restriction if its still quiet.
Noticed on the East Kilbride line that Sunday evening services are half hourly while rest of week its hour until 2147.
Not their fault! At the moment the only way into Oban from the south is from Stirling. The railway is closed near Rhu, the A83 at the Rest, again, and the A82 along loch Lomond. And even the A85 is difficult alongside loch Awe.
A real shame - PPM was sitting at 97% before that happened, but not their faultMost of the core routes in the Central Belt are pretty much gone. The roads aren't bearing up well either. I believe there are no trains to Helensburgh at all, with the e2g via Falkirk and Cumbernauld being closed to trains too.

I assume they are anticipating large numbers of daytrippers to the seaside. I think that they've been overcrowded, certainly beyond social distancing.Something strange out and about today. According to RTT an 8 car Class 380 has been allocated to the following services:
5K80 - 11:55 Ayr CSD to Ayr
2K80 - 12:06 Ayr to Glasgow Central
1F65 - 13:18 Glasgow Central to Ardrossan Harbour
1F68 - 14:36 Ardrossan Harbour to Glasgow Central
2K89 - 15:34 Glasgow Central to Ayr
1K48 - 16:54 Ayr to Glasgow Central
2K99 - 18:04 Glasgow Central to Ayr
2K00 - 19:34 Ayr to Glasgow Central
5G90 - 22:32 Glasgow Central to Corkerhill C.S.M.D
Units are 380101 and 380104. If anyone is out and about today it might be worth chasing as 8 car 380s are extremely rare.

RTT shows what is sent to it by the operator. We have noticed since the data has been available publicly that errors like this have been somewhat reducing for operators that are participating.Must've been an error on RTT's end. The set ran as a 4 car today. 380101 only.

Both 380101+380104 were allocated to the same diagram this morning, from 0315. 104 was removed from the diagram at 0915 and it has been 4 cars since then.
