scunthorpe to cleethorpes

Tomorrow, off-peak (however the relevant ticket(s) define that) returning same day.

I looked this up just now for a friend and see £12.60 single (m.nationalrail didn't want to give me a return price). This seems rather expensive for a short local journey. Any suggestions of other tickets to buy to make it cheaper please?

Thank you kindly. The words "returning same day" may have given a clue. Not me but a friend.

Yes, I saw that. I got a bit confused when you quoted a single price and remarked that it was expensive.

TPE-priced fares can be quite expensive in many cases.
