I've just finished reading the "IC/NSE/RR story" series on Sectorisation and wondered if anyone could confirm/elaborate on the following questions regarding infrastructure?
1. Where was the northern boundary of NSE infrastructure on the GEML (presumably somewhere between Manningtree and Ispwich)?
2. Did Intercity own the infrastructure from the NSE boundary to Norwich with Regional Railways taking all the branches?
3. Was Crown Point an IC or RR depot, contracting to each other?
4. Were drivers/guards based in Ipswich from all three sectors?
5. Was Intercity Anglia (and Gatwick Express?) unique in not owning infrastructure to (and including) its London Terminus? The NSE Story refers to "NSE Islands" in Intercity territory at Euston etc.
Sorry for all the questions, does anyone have any recommended further reading on sectorisation?
Thanks,
Gareth
