I have not seen a vacancy for this role advertised for a long time. I was under the impression this role is normally filled by internals. Is this correct?
Also does this mean there could be some opportunities for this role based in Sunderland?

Would it be possible for someone with knowledge of grand central to give me an idea about shift patterns, on board role, etc regarding this role, currently a qualified conductor for a separate TOC.
