Senior Railcard - Not used due to requests by Government not to travel.

As many users are being urged not to use trains, is their a likelihood of these passes being extended on expiry, by say at least 3/4/5 months, to compensate users complying with requests not to travel unless absolutely necessary? An extension would not involve cash being repaid etc.

This has been asked multiple times on this forum. The answer from RDG appears to be no.

Will the RDG extend Railcard Validity due to Covid-19

Simple really Very few of us railcard holders will have been able to use our railcards during the last few months, will they think about extending validity in these unique times
