Braunston is close to where the M45 splits off from the M1, which it ends at a junction with the A45 near Dunchurch.

One of the old coaching inns in Dunchurch is the Green Man. There are many Green Man hostelries to found up and down the country, one such is in Little Snoring Norfolk

Clementia Taylor was an English women's rights activist and radical who was born in Brockdish, Norfolk in 1810, one of twelve children. She died in Brighton in 1908.
