Nine Elms is home to the New Covent Garden fruit flower and Veg market which used to be based at Covent Garden in Central London. Of course there used to be a real convent there but good old Henry Vlll (he of many wives) put and end to that with his dissolution of convents and monasteries and his general falling out with the Roman Catholic Church. Henry was born in Greenwich in 1491

Higher up the river Fal is Truro and (in the summer at least) it is possible to get to Truro from Falmouth on a boat trip returning later by train.

There are several Strict and Particular Baptist Churches, including Spring Meadow and Station Road, both in the Old Hill area, in Cradley Heath. Another one is the Bierton Strict and Particular Baptist Chapel, which is unsurprisingly found in the village of Bierton, Buckinghamshire.

Buckinghamshire, in which Bierton lies, is one of a number of shire counties like Oxfordshire Lincolnshire and Warwickshire whose county town forms the first part of the county name however Wiltshire's county town is no longer Wilton but Trowbridge. This change took place late in the 19th century
