Just noticed the above page on the Severn Valley Railway website, no trains look to be running between Highley and Kidderminster from 15/07 until 17/07 due to a "fantastic contract oppertunity".

Anyone know any more about what this oppertunity is?

I have a feeling that it is potentially to do with track near Kidderminster Town? Maybe? Seen as they say they rely on income to maintain their buildings and infrastructure, it may be something like that. Or the tunnel south of Bewdley. It is probably something like that.

    Speculation time!

Fantastic contract opportunity requiring partial closure...

How about someone wanting to spend a fortune using the railway for filming something?
