I thought Barnetby until they said 'Alvechurch' station which I remembered from BVE Cross City South.

Given that Birmingham isn't a county I read that post to mean that Barnt Green is near Birmingham which, relatively speaking, is correct.

Hmm... certainly an interesting call. Is it real? Taken from signalbox log tapes or something?

I was on a train once that was stopped and cautioned near Colton Junction due to a report of a naked man on the line. Best bit though was the guards announcement "would any passengers who see this man please point him out to the rest of the carriage, and also inform a member of the on train crew". Me and my mates were sitting in a carriage full of business men and the like, and were all trying to avoid laughing, but at that the whole carriage (and probably whole train) burst out laughing.
