Sheffield - Nuneaton

Hi,
I am looking to travel either Wed 19th or Thurs 20th May returning same day,ideally wanting to get there before 10am and leaving mid afternoon.
Best fare found is two singles of £14.50 and £10 with C/C is this the best i can hope for?
No railcard.
Any help appreciated.

if you can arrive at 1101.. you can buy this it costs £8.60

buy from sheffield station on the day derbyshire wayfarer...

this alllows travel between sheffield and burton up trent after 0930, but should be ok on the 0927 depature. and any time coming back
