Sheffield to Manchester

Hi all,
I'm travelling up to Manchester Piccadilly this Wednesday on an Advance from St Pancras, changing at Sheffield, including a reservation on the 1611 off Sheffield.

Anyone know if this is normally a 170 or 185?

The train will be a 185. The NRE says the train has first class seating and only 185's on FTPE have 1st

TPE class 170s have First Class seating too (not many seats mind!)

Formed off the 0726 from Cleethorpes originally, and since there are no facilities for servicing 170s at Cleethorpes this should be a 185 - unless things have changed recently!

It is indeed a 185; I'm sat on it right now.
