Just curious as to why brfares.com still lists fares for journeys to Shoreditch Underground (ZSD) as well as a different set for Shoreditch High St (SDC)?

e.g. Brighton to Shoreditch. To Shoreditch Und it gives any anytime day single of £26.50 via New Cross Gate (with the ticket actually being to any Underground or DLR in Zones 2-6). This fare is not available to Shoreditch High St, presumably because the underground was in Zone 2, whereas the High St is in Zone 1.

It doesn't. If you look, the fare to which you are referring to is issued to ZONE U2356 LONDN (Zones 2-6). BRFares, like the NFM software will, if you type in an individual station, "correct" it if it makes sense to do so. Just like how if you say type in from Banbury to BHM Birmingham New St it will correct it to 0418 Birmingham Stns.

But why is Shoreditch Underground coming up at all?

Presumably no one has got round to deleting it - possibly not helped by the fact that no TOC 'owns' (i.e. is responsible for) Underground stations, let alone former Underground stations.
