    lol, Not sure how many times I walked through that tunnel during the project to re-open the line but it was a lot!

    So thats 260 metres as near as is important, and my theory that if you dragged a Pendolino around that stretch of line it would be possible to have one end of the train in Smethwick West while the other is in Galton Bridge holds water then. :D

    If you are still taking requests, Stratford upon Avon to Stratford upon Avon Parkway. I'm guessing it's over a mile, but it's not in the railmiles website database yet.

    I reckon 1.2 miles, based on Google Earth's measuring tool.

    Town station is at mp 8.77 and Parkway is at mp 9.78, so it's one mile and one chain.

    (Mileages measured from Honeybourne, I assume.)

    three closest stations in the world! I reckon though in zones 2 and 3 that no DLR stations are more than 3/4 of a mile apart.
