It looks like it went to Doncaster instead, and terminated somewhere around there, probably one of the many yards around there.

RTT, as good as it is, can't track a train once it goes off-route, so charlwoodhouse.co.uk is good for this - I've linked this train below, with the notes at the top showing it went off-route at South Kirkby Junction:
