Slovenian Railways

I have had a bit of a Google search in both English and Slovenian for the Slovenian Traction (locos and units for numbers etc.)

Not a lot has come up.

http://www.railfaneurope.net/list/slovenia/slovenia_sz.html has come up but that is a general overview of the classes. It's a good start.

When I was last in Villach in Austria I did see 541-103-2 and 541-108-1.

There appears to be:

• Four Electric Loco classes.
• Eight Diesel Loco classes.
• Four EMU classes.
• Four DMU classes.

Also there are two EMU classes, one DMU class and one Diesel Loco class on order.

Does anyone have the lists of Numbers for all of the above?
Or have links to site that have the info?

I have used Google Translator to email the Slovenian Railways and I'm awaiting a response.

The SZ 541s are the same as the OeBB 1216s
They are numbered 541-001–022 & 101–110

The 541 info is especially good.

Good Translate can be a pig but is looking ok at the moment.

A couple links off of the wiki has lead to me to a few interesting bits.

I've manged to glean a few bits off of a forum. Not a lot though lol

Perhaps this document, while slightly dated, may prove of help? The Class 362 has been withdrawn though.
