Snow and ice is currently causing persistent signalling and points failures in Central Scotland.

Current problems include:

Signalling failure at Motherwell
Points failure between Slateford and Haymarket affecting the WCML into edib
Train failure between Airdrie and Bathgate.

There have also been recent failures at Lanark, Carstairs and between West Calder and Shotts.

UPDATE: There now seems to also be delays on the Edinburgh to Glasgow via Falkirk line due to a train fault.
UPDATE: The failure between Lanark and Motherwell has recurred as has the Carstairs.

Not a good day to be trying to get between Glasgow and Edinburgh!
