South Wales to eastbourne

Is a off peak return any permitted route to Eastbourne from South Wales allowed by travelling via Southampton and Brighton

From Cardiff, Bridgend,Swansea, Whitland the answer is yes (maps SN+XE). "South Wales" is a bit too big say for sure.

Depends on your origin but an any permitted off peak return probably won't be the cheapest option for this route. From Cardiff its actually marginally cheaper to get a Seven and Solent 3 in 8 Rover and an off peak return from Fareham to Eastbourne than the Super off peak any permitted, there's lots of splitting tricks and advances too.
