Last weekend Charing Cross to Hastings services were diverted via Redhill due to engineering works. Are Southeastern Drivers trained on this route using Southern 377s or do Southeastern borrow drivers from Southern for these rare occasions.

Thanks

Joe:)

Southeastern drivers from tonbridge depot, they sign the route and 377's.

Southeastern drivers and conductors from Tonbridge and Hastings depot sign "The Old Road" via East Croydon and Redhill, plus 377s for diversionary purposes.

In addition, there are several Southern services that are actually crewed by Southeastern for that very reason, namely certain London Bridge-Tonbridge services.
