0800 Chester-Cardiff via wrexham (ECS from Crewe to Chester)
0830 Manchester-Cardiff (ECS from Crewe)
0827 Manchester-Cardiff (starting at Crewe).

The following are additionals running on Saturday 27th August 0715 Crewe-Manchester/ 0800 Manchester-Cardiff via Warrington
0827 Manchester-Cardiff (starting from Crewe at 0913)
0830 Manchester-Cardiff via Wimslow
1644 Cardiff-Manchester
1705 Cardiff-Newport/ ECS to Cardiff/ 1820 Cardiff-Crewe
1744 Cardiff-Manchester
All are 47's, one will be top'n'tail, to allow a rescue loco to be in the area should it be needed.

I believe that the extras on the 27th August are for the Rugby League challenge cup final in Cardiff, and are being operated by Arriva Trains Wales. Is this correct?

As I have been told by ATW that they are also planning to run loco hauled servicesto Cardiff at approximately 08:00 and 08:30, returning to Manchester at around 17:20 and 18:15.
