No, sorry. It's typically around 20%.

Seem to be some much larger discounts this time.
I've looked at First for the morning of 21/05 Glasgow to London:
0800 (changing at Crewe or remaining on board)
Advance: £51
Seat Sale: £38
Discount 25%
0840
Advance: £136
Seat Sale: £38
Discount 72%
0940
Advance: £78.50
Seat Sale: £38
Discount 51%
The savings to London are probably the best value at £38 for the sale seat whereas bizarrely Birmingham and Wolverhampton are £10 dearer from Glasgow or Edinburgh.
Middling destinations like Lancaster and Preston at £28 are not quite so spectacular
Ah - I was looking at a date that interested me - I'm already travelling on that day but by East Coast as Virgin's price when I booked was too high for me - and with East Coast I can walk through to STD at York and use my season ticket so I only paid £29 for 1st that far - must remember or I might be posting in the disputes section - also need to remember I can't take advantage of the free alcohol.

That sounds great. I'm in London for a few days coinciding with the last weekend of this offer. Does anyone know if they will be on sale online right up until the offer ends on 26th May.
Would like to go on 2 days out to both Hastings and Ramsgate but want to wait until I've seen weather forecast before booking rather than book now. I'd then book the night before and collect from ticket machines at Charing Cross or St Pancras on morning of travel. Just don't want opportunity of purchasing these tickets to be withdrawn too early.
How are you supposed to find the actual restrictions for this ticket?
It's not on NRES, and Virgin's website is not particularly helpful.
and the ticket terms say....
"When you buy a MOMA! breakfast from selected WH Smith and Superdrug stores you can take advantage of a great deal with us. Check out details here! http://*******/QLowob"
20% off First and Standard Class Advance fares with East Coast for tickets between 6th May and 18th July (exc 23rd - 26th May). No mention of railcard discount on top of it though.
Sorry for the late reply. I've spoken with someone today and they've confirmed that they will be on sale right up until the end of offer on 26th May. They're not quota controlled so won't be withdrawn early.
Thanks for finding out that information more me. I thought that was probably the case, I just wanted to make sure.
It's just a pity that I don't arrive in London until 24th May and so will only be able to make use of this great offer on the Sunday and Monday.
