Crewe Works Open Day was always worth a visit so I went to the 2003 Open Day held over the week-end of the 31st May-1st june.
As always with big open days various Specials were run to bring people to the event and these trains form most of my video taken on the station either side of my visit to the Works.
Pathfinders Crewe Invader with 37517 and 37695,GWR Hall 4965 Rood Ashton Hall and LMS 8F on Crewe Chester Shuttles and 37427 and 37428 Loch Long/Loch Awe from Linlithgow run by the SRPS to Shrewsbury via Crewe were the tours I saw that day, as well as various light engine movemenrts and a 47/7 on a Holyhead train are seen.
